Made by royal appointment in Denmark by Bing and Grondahl “To commemorate the wedding of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales And The Lady Diana Spencer At St Paul’s Cathedral 29th July 1981” (Written on the back of the plate).
The plate is in a magnificent cobalt blue with the gold silhouette of Charles and Di to the centre. On the circular patterned outer is the Prince of Wales’ and Lady Diana Spencer’s Coat of Arms in gold as well as St Pauls Cathedral and the year of the wedding.
– Holes in the base rim to allow it to be hung on the wall.
– “A Limited edition of 2500” (written on the back)
– Makers mark and script to the base in gold gild
– Excellent condition, no chips or cracks
