Coronation Street

This awesome soap first aired on December 9, 1960. I’ve been a huge fan of Coronation Street since my oldest child was just a baby, almost 22 years ago now. Back in those days Corrie was shown on free to air TV, it disappeared for several years then reappeared on Pay TV here in Australia. We are still a couple of years behind the current episodes in the UK.

Every now and then I must admit to going to some of the sites to see the upcoming story lines. Here are some links to the main ones I look at:
(Warning – Lots of Spoilers here)

Official site from Granada TV

Corrie.net – The Coronation Street Fans website – Full profiles of characters, actors and places.

Corrieblog – Includes Coronation Street Weekly Updates, Previews and Episode Reviews.

Voting for the upcoming 2007 British Soap Awards is closing soon, so show your support for Corrie and get your vote in! And it’s not too late to enter their competition to be on the red carpet arrivals on the night! You will find the online form when you get to the end of the voting.

From their site:

How would you like to be there in the thick of all the glitz and sparkle on the red carpet to watch your favourite stars from Coronation Street, Doctors, EastEnders, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks arrive?
If you would like to be in with a chance of receiving a pair of tickets to the Red Carpet Arrival then please fill in the form below telling us your name, email address and daytime contact number – along with your three favourite soaps.”
