“KMW Productions, the Promoters of the Meat Loaf – The Three Bats Tour scheduled for February 2008, regret to announce that the tour has been re-scheduled for later in 2008. Stay tuned for further announcements.”

“Doctors have diagnosed Meat Loaf with an inter-vocal cord cyst. While most cysts of this type require surgery, voice therapy is usually conducted first to determine if it is necessary. It will be known in approximately four to six weeks what further course of action may be required.

Said Meat Loaf, “It really breaks my heart not to be able to perform these shows. I was really looking forward to capping off a great year and celebrating the start of the holidays with the fans. But I have to do what the doctors tell me so I can look forward to healing and coming back strong in 2008.
Let me dispel any rumors before they start – I will be back.”

Meat is ill at the moment and has had to cancel and postpone several of his UK shows. Hopefully he takes the necessary time to recover before heading downunder!

I’ve been lucky enough to see him perform several times now, over a number of years and he is without doubt the most awesome performer!

The legendary Rock Star is coming down under AGAIN!

This is fabulous news for all his Aussie fans!

Meat announced at his last tour that it would be THE LAST time downunder, so I am just absolutely thrilled he is bringing his Three Bats Tour to Australia!
